RNS Composites is proud to introduce their version of the motorsport front lip in FRP construction, inspired by the BMW E9x GT4 factory motorsport lip. RNS Composites improves the aerodynamics of the car by reducing air turbulence and increasing downforce, which helps to improve handling and stability at high speeds - all at a fraction of the cost of the genuine BMW Motorsport GT4 lip. The lip has an integrated functional brake air duct that routes behind the bumper, which can be utilized to enable brake cooling. Modification of the plastic under tray may be required to utilize the functional ducts.
The fit and finish is Matte Black, lightweight FRP construction with a paintable surface. The underside features countersunk holes to allow for hardware to pass through.
Installation is straightforward and assembly hardware is included for a true bolt-on affair. Professional installation is highly recommended for precise fitment. Please refer to photos for actual product. Underside cover may need to be trimmed or altered to allow proper fitment of ducts. If you do not intend to retain the brake ducts, you can trim them down to fit OEM/Aftermarket underside covers and undertrays.
Fitment: Will fit all OEM E9x (E90 M3 / E92 M3 / E93 M3) bumpers (Both USDM + Euro).
Warning: This E9x M3 lip hangs very low - please be mindful of driveways and curbs.
